Popup Reference Widget
Originated from Oxfam U.K. and extended by Enfold Systems. Provides extra functionality that default ATReferenceBrowserWidget does not have -- that makes sense for *large* scale systems.
Project Description
This is a different way to handle popup reference browsing. It is in use on two of the largest Plone sites. The biggest functionality that is provided in this is:
- Ability to create
canned queriesso that a user can not select anything from the browser widget OTHER THAN content in the result set of query - Ability to be able to paginate queries
- Extensible (albeit slightly insane) way of extending the system by passing around python data structure in javascript and then safely 'exec'ing them. Yes its safe. Not great; but safe. And if you want to be really brave you can open it up to be unsafe and do really cool things!
You can download this software from enfoldsystems.com/Products/Open/PopupReferenceWidget
