tools to manage keywords for content types, could be used for adding keywords to a selection of objects or recursive to all objects in some folder...

Project Description

Plone has a flexible keyword architecture, but the UI is not optimal to manage the keywords for many objects. So we need to change this with PloneKeywordTools.

 

 

What PloneKeywordTools does

  • provide a form like content_status_history, where we can add keywords to a selection of objects and/or recursive for all objects in all subfolders
  • provide a KeywordManager Portlet, to manage keywords of actual object
  • provide KSS based drag&drop of keywords from KeywordManager Portlet to an object in listings (like in album view for example)

Hi Christian,

sorry, we have figured out, that we need some thing a clipboard, to solve such problems and build a keyword manager on top of this.
The inqbus.plone.clipboard and inqbus.clipboard are already in production, but need some work to go public and then the keywordmanager is the favorite next plug-in to build on top of them.

But the keywordmanager is only for my personal use, so the focus come with the availability of my private time ;).

If you have a concrete need in one project feel free to sponsor a little work to get it done ;)
