This was initially reported as https://trac.plone.org/plone/ticket/4626:
In PloneHelpCenter0.4 for Plone 2.1 in how-to section. Item "Visible and editable only for owner" is OK but when state changed to "Waiting for Reviewer", item has orange color only in list folder - in view mode is like normal item (color) published.

This is fixed now. limi will clean up the colours soon.
