This is the first stable release of Gossip.
Experimental releases
Upcoming and alpha/beta/candidate releases
- Alpha releases should only be used for testing and development.
- Beta releases and Release Candidates are normally released for production testing, but should not be used on mission-critical sites.
- Always install on a separate test server first, and make sure you have proper backups before installing.

Gossip is a forum, based on Archetypes. It can be installed on Plone version 2.1 to 2.5.
What does it provide ?
Gossip provides 3 content types :
A forum
This is the very top level, it can contain threads and it supports search.
A thread
This is a discussion. It's the top level, the number one !
Templating is based on this type and a thread will be the root of all the posts
A post
This is a simple reply to a thread
