Ploneboard should take advantage of Plone's built-in Favorites function by allowing users to add forums or conversations to their Favorites.

Motivation

This is another simple UI-convenience feature. Plone's Favorites feature is powerful, and under-utiltized in part (we think) because core products fail to support it.

Proposal

Enable users to add forums or conversations to Favorites, if Favorites are turned on for the site.

Implementation

This probably involves just enabling "document actions" for the various Ploneboard view templates.

Sure, but

Somebody really have to make favorites work again.

I agree that favorites are supremely useful, but in their current state, they suck big time.

I would postpone this until Plone has fixed the favorites up a bit.

Fair enough.

Didn't realize that Favorites still didn't not suck. ;-)

But clearly, this should wait until they don't. Hopefully that will be soon.
