This is the first public release, although the product has been in existence in SVN for quite a long time. The aim of releasing now is to extend the user user-base beyond the existing group of developers who follow SVN developments.
Despite the 'version 0.1' label, the product should now be reasonably stable, and there are no *known* bugs. Be warned, though, bugs are expected to be found in this version of Ploneboard. Indeed, finding them is one of the main motivations for making the release.
N.B. Due to the (Zope) bug outlined at http://plone.org/collector/4700, it Ploneboard 0.1b1 is not compatible with Zope 2.7.7. If 2.7.8 ever gets released, it should work with that.
