When you stop creating a board, still a board object is created with no name as it was with Content Types in former Plone versions.

I suppose this could be connected with portal_factory and being a factory type. If some of the newly installed product can not make itself a factory type automatically, then it starts actiong in that way.

This is fixed in svn when you install with portal_quickinstaller. If you use the GenericSetup profiles to make a "Ploneboard" site during Plone creation, portal_factory is not enabled. Assigning to wiggy since he seems to be in charge of the GS profiles.

If the profile doesn't work fully, we can't ship 1.0 with it.

I've disabled the GenericSetup profile for now: unfortuantely there is still too much GS infrastructure missing to properly support Ploneboard.

Since there is a seperate issue for GS issues I'm closing this one.
