I need to correct this issue. I also am not getting kupu to work properly in the reply form, in either the latest Firefox on Mac OS X or the latest IE on Windows XP Pro. Therefore, it looks like kupu works only in the quick reply. It it's used somewhere, it should be used everywhere in the application, especially as it is a stripped down version of kupu.

I need to correct my correction. The only place kupu is not working is in the add comment and add conversation templates. It seems to be working correctly everywhere else. Sorry for the confusion (mostly mine!).

The other place that I've found where kupu is not working is in the edit comment.

This should be a lot better in the current subversion trunk; can you please retest with that?

This is working well now (sorry for the delay). I tested using IE as well as Firefox on Maco OS X.

Now is see that in a "free-for-all," an anonymous author in either the quick reply or the reply does not have access to the mini-kupu tools. Is this by design, or a bug? They shoud have the same tools as a logged in member in a members-only forum.

What you are seeing is that the kupu javascript is not loaded for anonymous users. If you modify the condition in the portal_javascript tool to always load the kupu javascript the mini-kupu should work fine for anonymous users.

The downside is an extra 100kb of javascript being loaded for anon users; luckily CacheFu makes that a one-time hit.

Can you verify that, and if it works please mark this issue as resolved.

Several people have reported that this works correctly, so I'm marking this issue as resolved.
