What's New in Plone 2.0 - continued.

Easier to publish

The new, improved publishing menu

Plone 2 makes it easier to publish items and change the workflow states of your content. An always-available pull-down menu streamlines the procedure for reviewers and other roles that deal with workflow changes.

Easier to add

The new, improved add menu

Plone 2 also makes the creation of new content much more accessible - a pull-down menu with the available content types is included everywhere content can be added.

Easier Collaboration: Item-level Sharing

Simple sharing of folders and single items

In addition to the folder-level sharing of content available in the previous version, Plone 2 adds item-level sharing - so you can now share single documents and other content without making the entire folder shared.

Easier Collaboration: Sharing by Groups

With the new groups support, an item or folder can be shared with a group, allowing easy implementation of natural collaboration patterns.
