What's New in Plone 2.0 - User Interface
What's New in Plone 2.0 - continued.
Search word highlighting
When using the search engine, Plone now highlights the search terms in the content you are viewing. This makes it easy to locate the section you are looking for.
Increased use of Descriptions as tool tips
Resulting from the increased focus on accessibility, most listings and portlets now display the description of the items listed as a tool tip / title attribute.
Link indicators
Links now indicate whether they are external links, secure links, mail links, FTP links or VoIP links.
RSS support for any search
Any search done in Plone can now be syndicated as an RSS feed.
New default listing
The new default listing that appears on folders without manually created views has several new features, like showing dates for events, and being more readable and easy to navigate.
Live style sheet/font size-switching
Font size can now be switched on-the-fly, without reloading the page. This switcher also supports entire style sheets, so you can have several active CSS definitions loaded, for example a high-contrast version for the visually impaired.
Ordering support for objects
Both the navigation tree and the content pages now support ordering, and you can arrange elements in the optimal configuration from within the editing interface.
