Plomino is a Plone/ZOPE product which provides users with a Lotus Domino-like application development toolkit.

It is now available in beta version.

Three major improvements compare to 0.5 alpha:

  • Security conflicts with the Plone workflow layer are fixed
  • Plomino is now Plone 2.5 compliant
  • Internet Explorer can now be used to edit form layout (note: you need to install Kupu 1.4)

We are now using ArchGenXML to produce the classes skeletons, so the code is much cleaner than before.

Here is the new features list:
  • Plone 2.5 compliant
  • Selection fields values list can be computed
  • Richtext fields can be edited using Kupu
  • Label attributes on views and columns
  • Using and About pages
  • View column entries rendered as html (to display rich text fields)
  • Alternate rows color in views
  • Security conflicts with Plone workflow are fixed
  • Internet Explorer can be used to edit form layout (Kupu 1.4 needed)
  • Various bugs fixed
