NunBB

A forum for Plone with a difference - the difference is that it's a traditional LAMP application, designed specifically to work with Plone. The product is called NunBB (a fork of punBB) and features shared-cookie authentication between Plone and the forum, as well as a range of fixes to better align the product features with typical requirements.

Project Description

NunBB is a fast and lightweight PHP-powered discussion board. It is released under the GNU General Public License. Its primary goals are to be faster, smaller and less graphically intensive as compared to other discussion boards. PunBB has fewer features than many other discussion boards, but is generally faster and outputs smaller, semantically correct XHTML-compliant pages.

NHS Connecting for Health are using the system in production, on a trial basis. However this does not mean that NunBB is necessarily bug free or even feature complete. We would appreciate patches, bug reports, deployment stories etc from users.
