MessageBroadcaster

A Plone product for the management of messages to users of a Plone instance.

Project Description

In a context where all the system users are world wide, this is a system of broadcasted messages  that allows to sent short and simple messages to all the users that are logged in  on a plone instance in order to make all informed of operations that can be critical as:

•  system shutdown;
•  maintenance;
•  on-going backup operation;
•  etc...

It works adding an alert pop up, setting the message text and the time range, this one will be shown at; the instances manager is the only role allowed to manage the Message Broadcaster. When a message is set, it will be shown to every user logged in, just once through a Pop Up.
