Code repositoryLink Popper makes all external links open in a new window. It does this by checking the host name in the current request and compares that with the url of all links in the page.
You can add extra whitelisted url's to it using the ZMI (go the portal_properties there you will find a property sheet for link popper).
Difference with Kupu's way
Kupu also has an option to make external links open in a new window. This however only works when editing a document. It does not change existing links. Another advantage Link Popper has is that it can use multiple white listed urls.
