Released May 8, 2008 — tested with Plone 3.0, Plone 2.5, Plone 2.1, Zope 2.10, Zope 2.9, Zope 2.8, Zope 2.7
First public release. But already fully functional and tested. Main purpose is to have a simple solution to display Flash videos on Plone sites. The other reason is to make this product compatible with older versions of Plone, that are still used :)

This product's goal is to make adding videos to Plone very simple. There are other solutions that are offering the same functionality. But non of them is as simple and intuitive to use.
It works in standard Plone way. Flash videos can be added as any other content, can have workflow, security settings ect.
Very useful tool ffmpeg. It can convert almost any video format to FLV (Flash Video file). Works both on Windows and Linux. Must have!
