A Customer is only allowed to create a Story inside of a Project. This Story shows up in the pending stories portlet, but unless it gets moved into an iteration at some point, it basically disappears, only visible in the folder_contents view of a Project. This concerns me that these Customer submitted stories will get lost.

Suggested fix: allow Customers to submit Stories into Iterations, or when accepting a customer Story (mark as estimated) the Story can be selected as being assigned to an Iteration, and is then moved there during the transition.

-or-

Show the Stories that aren't in iterations in the Project View either below or above the Iterations.
Steps to reproduce:
As a customer, go to the Project Space. See that you can add a story. Go into an iteration, and see that you cannot add a Story. Go back to the Project Space and add a Story, Submit for Estimate. Then as an Employee, or Project Manager, log in and you see the new Story in the 'Pending Stories' portlet. Click on it, edit it, estimate it, mark as estimated, then go look for it. You cannot find this story in any view/portlet as any type of user.

Hi,

Sorry for reacting so late.

A Customer *can* add a Story within an Iteration; it just needs to be in the 'new' review state.

There is the optional xm.theme package. That has a bit more UI for showing items that no longer are visible on the project view. But I see Stories are not visible there either. So I fixed that (fix was needed in xm.portlets and xm.theme).

And I fixed Products.eXtremeManagement so there is a list of items (including Stories) at the bottom of the project view when xm.theme is not available.

No new releases have been made yet.
