Now when a task is created, an e-mail is send to the assignee. The assignee thinks he/she can start working on that task, while that is not the case. It should be better to send the e-mail when the status of the task is set on "to do".
Another wish: when for projectmanagement reasons the task is assigned to another employee, the first assignee should get the message he/she is no longer assigned to it.

That change also means that your other wish is harder to do; I am happy to have gotten rid of the hack we previously used and this wish means we would need to introduce roughly the same hack again. Can we safely say that in that case the project manager will inform the previous assignee him/herself?
