ExpertPool

ExpertPool is a Product to manage special users names Experts which can register themselves, and after approval, write articles for several categories and do some presentation of themselves on their member page.

Project Description

ExpertsPool is a Container where special Members named Experts can write categorized articles.
All the permission handling is done internal.

Requires:

• zope2.9 +
• plone2.5 +
• membrane
• remember
  

 

Installation

• Copy ExpertsPool, membrane and remember to the Products folder of your target Zope instance.
• Restart Zope
• Install the product either by creating a new PloneSite and selecting ExpertsPool extension profile or by applying Experts Profile in the portal_setup tool and running all import steps if you want to integrate in an existing site. MAKE A BACKUP OF YOUR DATAFS BEFORE INSTALLING IN AN EXISTING SITE
• Append expertpool portlet by adding 'here/expertpool_portlet/macros/portlet' to the slot you want it to be displayed.
  

 

Notes

• There must only exist one ExpertPool with one ExpertArticles and one Experts container inside it. More such existing objects cause the application resulting to strange results. this objects should be unique objects.
• The user(s) acting as ExpertManager MUST have the roles 'ExpertManager' AND 'Expert'. The latter one is required to be able to assign this local role to an Expert in a specific category.
