Motivation

Right now, several preferences (list of possible event locations, honorifics, date display formats, etc) must be set through the ZMI, in a sheet in portal_properties. A configlet front-end would make it possible for less-technical users to set the preferences.

Proposal

  • Write a page template (or cpt?) to read & write the propsheet values.
  • Add appropriate component to Install.py
