Motivation

Not all events are free.

Proposal

Registration process must be integrated with paypal.

Implementation

This can be done one of two ways:

  1. Payment is processed before registration is completed (i.e. when clicking the "save" button.
  2. Registration (in the sense of filling out the reg form) is completed, and the user is prompted for payment in the confirmation email . Workflow would be altered to have registered-unpaid and registered-complete states; free events would bypass the registered-unpaid state.
