Change log
Features
- Main windows open asynchronously, eliminating hanging if there is a problem connecting to the server.
- Timeouts are longer for large uploads, reducing error messages.
- Desktop works with later Zope, Plone and Enfold Server versions.
- Change to an advertising-supported free version that works without the server component or a server license key.
- Drag-and-drop with the right mouse button now displays a menu with the various drop options, just as Windows Explorer itself does for files.
- Enhancements related to running on Windows Vista. While some Vista-specific issues remain, the Desktop client should install and work OK on all 32-bit Vista installations.
- The Report Error button is available only on unexpected errors (not network or authorization issues, for example).
Bugs fixed
- Various bugs relating to non-ASCII characters in user and file names
- Various bugs related to secure (https) server connections
- Selecting multiple files and then Open would cause all files to be opened in a single editor (e.g., Word), rather than using the appropriate editor for each individual file.
- Selecting Cut then Paste sometimes operated like Copy and Paste.
- Numerous issues relating to file name normalization
- Error reporting now includes information from the server when possible.
- Various bugs related to Open With on the context menu
- Many other minor, cosmetic bugs
- ConflictErrors will not concatenate xml responses
- Internal Server errors, 500, will return well formed results.
