Target release:
prettyPhoto creates the gallery overlay view for all images show on a webpage and which are tagged with the corresponding css class decorator. Yet, the problem is, that the "gallery view (prettyPhoto" only shows twelve images at a time in batched mode. As a result, you are only able to browse through twelve images at a time via prettyPhoto and not - as expected - through the complete set of images given in the folder.

Solution:
Add links to all images of a folder (possibly invisible) on each batch page or stop batching alltogether.
Steps to reproduce:
Create a folder
Add more than 12 images
Set the view to gallery_view (prettyPhoto)
> See the batched pages
> See

collective.prettyphoto provides prettyphoto support for given templates. it does not ship any template, so this bug can't be fixed by a new release.

it's up to every template writer himself, how much images a templates shows up and which links are contained.

sorry, prettyphoto ships one template, placed in skins folder. for your usecase i would recommend to customize it, because we changing this by default could break other users' applications

Modifying a template may break existing solutions. Therefore, I understand that you do not want to change this...

Actually it took me quite a while to a) understand how pretty photo works and b) to find out that and why I can only see 12 pictures via the widget. Therefore, how about a short note on the project page where this "limitation" is mentioned.

Thanks anyway.
