collective.pdfpeek generates jpeg image thumbnail previews of each page of PDF files uploaded to File (ATFile) content objects.
Project Description
This product, when installed in a Plone 3.x site, will automatically generate preview and thumbnail images of each page of uploaded PDF files using GNU ghostscript and store them annotated onto the content object containing the pdf file. The images and previews are then available via a custom traverser for use in custom views.
Requires the GNU ghostscript gs binary to be available on the $PATH and PIL to be in sys.path!
