CMFEditions 1.0alpha4 (Alpha release 4) (Jun 27, 2006)
This is not a final release. Experimental releases should only be used for testing and development. Do not use these on production sites, and make sure you have proper backups before installing.
Unplaned but necessary fourth alpha. This release is intended to lower upgrading risks for production systems based on trunk head till svn revision 25320 of 2006-06-24 or the previous 1.0alpha3 release.

The alpha4 shall give people using the trunk in production systems a well defined upgrade path to the CMFEditions 1.0beta1 release at the same time. If you don't belong to this group of people you shall use CMFEditions 1.0beta1 release!
In CMFEditions 1.0beta1 some internals of the version storage change and cause some migrations to take place. Migrations is only supported from 1.0alpha4 to 1.0beta1 and newer. So if you have to migrate you have to bring your site to CMFEdtions 1.0alpha4 first (no migrations needed) before doing the migration to a newer
