Retrieve
#
- Retrive is a technical term used to indicate the action of picking a version of a content from the repository without altering the working copy. It is a kind of preview of a rollback operation.

Revert
#
- Revert is sometimes used also to indicate a rollback. The two are used as synonims. See Rollback.

Rollback
#
- To rollback a version means to restore a previous version, discarding the current one. In other words rolling back replaces current content with an arbitrary previously saved version. See also Revert.
