Can I manage versions of office documents?

Is it possible to manage versions of office documents like Word, Excel, Openoffice Write, etc. ?

Yes it is. CMFEditions can manage all kind of content types, included File and every kind of field of your custom types. Every version of a binary document is stored as a separate object in the database, and it is possible to retrieve and download old versions at anytime. Versioned binary files can have the same filesystem ID or different IDs.
