A product enabling definition and edition of classification schemes ; these help managing, cataloging and searching big collections of arbitrary content types.

Project Description

A classification scheme (c.s.) is a hierarchy of keywords, that can be navigated mostly like a traditional filesystem. The product provides a new Archetype field, two Archetypes widgets and a navigation browser.

It is possible to associate as many classification schemes as needed to one content type. The documents (or content types instances) can be associated to one or many keywords of the same c.s., and security settings can be also (optionally) set up individually for keywords.
Thus it becomes possible to manage huge collections of content by capturing it in *several* hierarchies of keywords, and to apply (optional) fine-grained security rules to them.

This product was extracted from an application developped for one customer of us. It currently lacks documentation and probably some polish but could be useful to some. Licence is GPL or CECILL (you choose).
