cenditel.audio, is the Cenditel Foundation Audio Format Specification. This package provide a additional content type that provide audio streaming using HTML5.

a content type based on ATFile than provide Audio storaged on FileSystemStorage for Plone 3

 

Requirements

Apart from what is assembled by the buildout, the following dependencies must be installed manually for the transcoding scripts to work:

• ffmpeg with x264 support

This product request resolve 2 dependencies, if are you using buildout configuration those product are resolved with this tak for you

• cenditel.multimediaplayertheme, It is a Content Type specific theme for html5 audio and video player of cenditel multimedia Plone products.
  
• cenditel.transcodedeamon, this package provide a transcode deamon using ffmpeg to get ogg vorbis theora multimedia files.

You need to download source code for a Plone 3 Buildout project, like this:

Installation

Now only is tested for Plone 3.3.5

cd cenditel.multimedia.buildout

python2.4 bootstrap.py

./bin/buildout -vNc cenditelmultimedia.cfg

 

Usage

Start Zope instance:

./bin/instance start

Add a new Plone site, go to the Install Products Form and install Cenditel Foundation Audio Format Specification. Later you can go to Add element a Content Type called "Audio".
