Features

Smart Calendar

• A Smart Folder inspired Calendar that supports content events, like ATEvent and custom events, additionally supports icalendar import/export, reoccuring events, and the basics of a good calendar.

Shared Calendar

• A calendar where by you can schedule meetings and events, supports content events, and scheduling of resources ( explicitly associated content ).

History

CalPlone is a port of the core functionality of CPSSharedCalendar, CalZope, and CalCore done by Nuxeo and Infrae to Plone. The port was started by Lennart Regebro of Nuxeo, and made useable and integrated into Plone by members of the Plone Community starting at the San Francisco Calendar Sprint.
