Terms which may confuse you if you are new to Squid, Caching, and/or other concepts at play in http acceleration.

Squid

backendpool #: 'backendpool' is a commonly used virtual hostname for one or more zope servers configured in a 'pool' of caching peers via ICP.

Http-Caching

ICP #: The Internet Cache Protocol, as defined at http://icp.ircache.net/rfc2186.txt, is a method for caching servers to communicate with each other. Zope can communicate with Squid via ICP for some advantage.
