Teaching Schedule
TeachingSchedule takes information about courses and times offered and generates views of the teaching schedule. It uses the ReportLab toolkit and its own routines to emit PNG, and other image types, PDF, SVG and simple HTML renderings. The plot produced has a left-to-right layout, wherein days are shown as columns and the time line for the day is shown on the y-axis. A plot for an entire semester, using the default settings, will be a very wide image. The image (for png, jpg, gif, etc. renderings) can be scrolled sideways on the Plone page. The usual zooming, scrolling, and panning functions of PDF viewers may be used for the PDF rendering. And, for SVG, newer browsers are getting close to functional support for SVG, including zooming, panning, scrolling.
Time Tracker
TimeTracker is an application that enables you to track the amount of time you spend on your tasks. Tasks can also be created with a start date in the future to act as reminders.

VacationPlanner's own rendering routines produce SVG directly and also a simple HTML table version. The layout in is to have time on the vertical axis, with the past extending downward from the top. The example data is for one complete year, so that the resulting graphic has a very great height. Vacations are plotted in columns for individual personnel.

zopyx.multieventcalendar
zopyx.multieventcalendar extends the standard Plone 'Event' type with five supplementary date fields. The purpose of this extender is to support events with multiple dates associated. E.g. a conference takes place at a particular date but often has additional associated dates like for a call-for-papers or a registration deadline. Instead of having multiple unassociated events within Plone, you can manage all that with one event instance. In addition zopyx.multieventcalendar provides a week and month calendar supporting this event extender. The implementation also supports export/subscription with iCal.
