This is not a final release. Experimental releases should only be used for testing and development. Do not use these on production sites, and make sure you have proper backups before installing.

Installing this product will give you a new content type ("success story") you can add via the "add to folder" interface.

The portlet can be added to the site and when users click through your site, the portlet will rotate through the different stories. It includes the photo and description text as well as a link to the folder containing the stories.

The folder where the stories are stored contains a view that has the description and then small version of the image.

Instructions on use and configuration are available in the README file.

 

  • It is no longer necessary to have a folder named "/success-stories". The portlet now shows items in "published" state from anywhere in the site (same way "news" and "events" portlets work in Plone site).
  • The image is resized by the product and does not need additional skin work (width:170px; height:130px)
  • The short name is drawn from the title, not the image file name
  • Includes license info in product
