ATPhoto is a product to display photos on your plone site. It takes the best of CMFPhoto, but builds on top of the ATImage content type that comes with Plone, and extends it with many additional features:
- EXIF metadata: extract relevant metadata that your camera has embedded in your photos
- IPTC metadata: extract metadata that you have added to the photos (copyright, photographer, location, etc.)
- Photo albums: group your photos into albums
- Slideshow: view your photos in a automatic slideshow with cross-fade effects.
- Symbolic photo: select one photo from the album to be used as a thumbnail to represent the photo album
- Flickr integration: import photos from your Flickr photo sets and export photos to Flickr
- Zip file import/export: upload a Zip file of photos and they will be added to your photo album. Export a photo album to a Zip file.
- Transformations: rotate the photo 90 degrees, 180 degrees, flip on horizontal and vertical axis
Feature enhancements in this release
The following features are associated with this release:
- #1: ATPhoto / ATImage
- This PLIP has two parts. The first makes essential improvements to EXIF, and improves related unit testing. The second adopts the powerful image handling features from Jean Francois Roche's ZPhotoSlides, and provides a new photo album container (ATPhotoAlbum) with viewing, download, management, sorting, and associated options.
- #3: Adding SlideShow Effects for ATPhotoAlbum
- It would be nice to have a list of slideshow effects to choose from like: fade, crossfade, wipe
