Archetypes is now a dependency of Plone 2.1. In last month it got lots of attention and several bugs been fixed. Minor features has been added. Thanks to all contributors!

Major enhancements:

  • CMF 1.5 Support
  • Five/Zope3 interface bridges
  • AllowedTypesByInterface MixIn
  • TemplateMixin fixed
  • ImageField enhanced
  • fixes arround webdav support
  • tons of fixes, minor improvements and adaptions to the unofficial Plone 2.1 style guideline.

Known Problems:

  • four unit tests are raising expected errors because of http://plone.org/collector/4487, this is not an Archetypes issue.
  • get_size performance issue (fix in progress)

Archetypes 1.3.4-final is tested with the following combinations of software. This does not exclude support of older versions, but we dont tested it with them.
