Plone Conference 2013 takes place October 2-4 at the Convention Center Ulysses Guimarães in Brasilia. Plone Conference 2013 and PythonBrasil[9] are organized by the community PloneGov-BR with support of the Python Brazil Association and Plone Foundation.

Plone is one of the most widely used CMS today. It is used to create the portals of the Brazilian government. The Python programming language is versatile, complete, and is the fastest growing in the world. This year's program schedule is very rich, with 150 presentations and more than 30 international speakers: 2013.ploneconf.org/talks.

The two events feature speakers from around the world, with 18 training opportunities. Also included is a  sprint at the headquarters of Interlegis, on October 5 and 6, aimed at helping to improve the technologies in practice and contribute to the open source software community. Large national and international experts will be present, and all event participants will earn a credit of $35 on Amazon AWS. They will receive a kit with a shirt, ecobag, and other items.
