The Plone4Universities project was founded during the Plone Conference 2007 in Naples
The goals of the Plone4Universities project are:
- promoting Plone to universities or comparable institutions
- providing informations related to Plone and universities in a single place
- improve the visibility of related projects
- strengthen the collaboration between projects and pooling resources
- provide a communication-platform for universities and institutes using Plone
