Plone to be Represented by 30 Plone Enthusiasts at EuroPython 2012
Plone will be represented in force this year at Italy's EuroPython 2012 in Florence, with more than 30 community members taking the floor in Plone t-shirts to make a visual splash ten years after the CMS was first unveiled at EuroPython 2002.
The Plone community will also hold a helpdesk session on July 4th where Plone experts will help attendees resolve Plone questions, as well as answering queries about Plone from people looking to find out more about the project and how it to get involved.
According to Delmonte, in addition to providing visibility for Plone, they hope to send a message to Python afficiandos that Plone is alive, well, and ready to welcome new developers to its ranks.
EuroPython is the most important European conference for Python language. It attracts hundreds of developers and passionate people, providing a week full of interesting sessions and discussions about the Python language and its applications. Plone is one of the most important and widespread Python based open source projects out there, and EuroPython is the right place to mix the Plone and Python communities for fun and profit.
