New Plone logo unveiled

by Alexander Limi last modified February 4, 2008 - 08:43

As one of the first steps in the Plone rebranding effort, the new logo is available in a variety of bitmap and vector formats.

Plone

Those of you who were present at the Plone Conference 2007 keynote in Naples were treated to a sneak peek of our new logo. We're happy to announce that the logo has been finalized, and made available in a number of different formats — ready for your use in print or on the web.

The logo update is a successful refresh of the iconic Plone brand, but modernizes it with a stronger color and a typeface that is extremely readable from any distance and in any size. It works great on both white and black backgrounds.

The original Plone logo was created by Vidar Andersen back in 1999, and the 2008 logo refresh was masterminded by Jola Hyjek. The Plone Foundation would like to extend their thanks to the designers.

We hope you like the new, refreshed logo as much as we do!
