I've been involved with the Plone Foundation since its inception, but mainly as an organizer and administrator.  I still enjoy doing that kind of work, managing tasks and details, getting things done, following through, etc.

However, I would like to devote more to the Plone Foundation during the next year by also being a part of the decision-making process, setting the agenda, and spending more energy on getting a sound structure in place.  Changes during the last half year have given me a better ability to get involved in a serious way and take more responsibility for helping out.

Goals

• Have a realistic set of goals for the board: what is in scope, what is realistic, who will commit to doing it
• Work with Alex to finish my long-overdue plone.net initiative and make it a positive example for the PF
• Grow the next generation of leadership in Plone, within the development side and also on the organizational side
