Plone 3 introduces many new features to Plone, including:

  • inline editing
  • versioning and staging
  • through-the-web locking to prevent concurrent editing
  • user-selectable portlets and a new portlet system
  • "viewlets" -- allowing elegant page composition without customizing HTML

This course is intended for people who have experience with Plone site development and HTML/CSS. It will cover what you need to know to take advantage of these new technologies in Plone 3. It assumes you have taken my standard bootcamp, or have a similiar level of experience.

Audience:
  • Developers
