The topic areas covered are:

  • Changing IP and ports,
  • setting up zope databases and threads
  • configuring logs,
  • VerboseSecurity and debug mode,
  • performance strategies,
  • Installing multiple Python- and Zope versions in parallel,
  • configuring PYTHONPATH,
  • packing and backups of Zope databases,
  • packing and rotating logfiles
  • etc.

Prerequisites

Basic knowledge of Zope

Tutors

Veit Schiele
works as communication designer and consultant. For six years he has been implementing various projects with Zope and Plone. Member of the DZUG association (German speaking Zope user group) and Python/Zope maintainer with Hostsharing (webhosting association).
Carsten Raddatz
works as a web developer and has been maintaining Plone installations since 2002.

  • «Early bird» for registrations before April 11 with a discount of 50% on the regular price:
