Vancouver Tools Sprint

by Joel Burton last modified June 19, 2006 - 17:50

Vancouver sprint focusing on development tools

Sprint Goals

We're interested in strengthening our developer tools. These include:

  • PloneShell, a friendly, powerful shell for working with the ZODB and Zope
  • PloneDebug, a set of useful portlets and features for debugging/developing in Plone
  • WingIDE/Plone integration

We're also interested in:

  • Making a "developer tools bundle" that ties together these sorts of tools

This is not a planning-things sprint or a starting-new-stuff-that-will-get-finished-later sprint. We hope to have 3 days of Python hacking and documentation that has immediate results. Other ideas for development tools welcome.
