doc-comm-sprint
A dual sprint for Plone.org documentation and PloneGetPaid.
When
June 24 - 29
Where
The Googleplex in Mountain View, California
What
A dual sprint with two (yes 2!) different topics. We're forming two teams to tackle Plone.org Documentation and a new e-commerce product, PloneGetPaid.
Each team will develop their own list of tasks to focus on, but main topics will include:
Documentation
- Better organization for the Plone.org Documentation set.
- Plone 3.0 documentation.
- Other topics as prioritized by doc team and sprinters. (We'll take requests!)
PloneGetPaid: learn about it or check out the wiki and source
- New release of PloneGetPaid, that further builds out the framework that will be in place by then.
- Payment processors: additional inclusion of payment processors (and taking advantage of the group to get everyone's favorite done!).
- Special use cases: probably the subscription/membership case, but others being considered (especially with the influence of sponsors).
Please also visit the sprint home page on Open Plans.
Why
Because you love Plone.
Because you love your fellow plonistas.
Because you're tired of not having documentation there when you need it.
Because you've always wanted an e-commerce product for Plone that isn't a hassle.
Because you're a big nerd and always wanted to spend your summer vacation in Silicon Valley. ;)
Who
Documentation and PloneGetPaid team members who have been involved thus far. New comers are welcome but space is limited and priority will be given to those that have contributed previously.
