New Orleans is less spread out than most New World cities. Here are some tips to get around.

The best way to get to/from the conference is the Streetcar. If your impatient or stay out too late (Streetcars stop running at 1AM) you can fetch a Taxi.

Streetcar

The St. Charles Avenue/Carrolton Avenue Streetcar line provides transportation between Tulane's Uptown Campus and hotels on St. Charles Avenue or Canal Street. Fare is $1.50 and exact change is required.

Taxi

Cab fare from the airport to area hotels or Tulane's Campus is $24 each way for up to two people and $10 per person 3 to 5 poeple. Local fares are $2 for the drop charge and $1.20 per mile. Each additional person in $1.00.

  • United Cab - (504) 522-9771
