Travel Directions

The Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport is not in New Orleans proper. It takes approximately 15 minutes to drive from the airport to the Tulane campus.

Directions to Conference Services

From the Airport:

• If driving, follow the directions for entering from West on I-10.
• If not, options including a taxi ($20.00 fare plus tip) or the Airport Shuttle ($10.00 fare per person plus tip) to the University.
  

From the West on I-10:

• Take I-10 East towards New Orleans.
• Take the Carrollton Avenue exit (exit 232), freeway turns into South Carrollton Ave.
• Continue on South Carrollton Ave. through 5 stoplights (where South Carrollton Ave. meets South Claiborne Ave.
• After passing South Claiborne, make a U-turn and come back up South Carrollton.
• Take a right on South Claiborne Ave. and go to the first stoplight (Broadway Street) and take a right.
• Once on Broadway, take a left at the first stoplight (Willow Street)
• On Willow, take a left at the first stoplight (McAlister Extension).
• Go down McAlister Extension for about .3 miles and Conference Services will be on the right hand side located on  the first floor of the Collin C. Diboll Complex.

For Parking: continue on McAlister Extension to the stop sign and pay parking will be on your right.

From the East on I-10:

• Take I-10 West towards the New Orleans Central Business District.
• Take South Claiborne exit (exit 234A), freeway will turn into South Claiborne Avenue.
• Go 10 stoplights and turn left onto Broadway Street. (estimated 2.4 miles)
• Once on Broadway, take a left at the first stoplight (Willow Street)
• On Willow, take a left at the first stoplight (McAlister Extension).
• Go down McAlister Extension for about .3 miles and Conference Services will be on the right hand side located on  the first floor of the Collin C. Diboll Complex.

For Parking: continue on McAlister Extension to the stop sign and pay parking will be on your right.
