Both Plone 2.5 and Plone 3 will be covered in the course, and a preview of Plone 4. First day will be an overview of Plone:
- Documents
- Users
- Collections
- Portlets
- Workflows
- Rules
- Keywords
- Folder sharing
...and how to use these in combination. The Plone utilities and tools will also be covered, primarily:
- portal_catalog
- portal_actions
- portal_workflow
- portal_setup
- portal_types
Second day will largely cover templates, views, viewlets and skinning, and the third day will cover development:
- How to write a document type for Plone with Archetypes
- Use ZopeSkel
- Different kinds of fields and widgets
