About the course
C2E Training: CSS for Plone - Beginner is a 1 day (4 hour) course where we will cover the basics of CSS and customizing Plone's CSS (stylesheets).
You want to customize the look & feel of your Plone site and you've been told to use CSS. Dedicated to learning how to customize your Plone site you do the research but still find yourself confused with both the CSS language and rules and the way that CSS works in the Plone Content Management System.
This online session will start from the beginning and help you to understand the CSS language and introduce you to tools like the Firefox Web Developer toolbar and Firebug.
We will assume that you are either completely new to using CSS or you have used it and can't quite grasp the language.

This course is designed for the integrator/designer tasked with converting the Plone look & feel to a company or organization branded look & feel. This session is an introduction to both CSS and CSS for Plone. Once you pick up the basic CSS rules and guidelines the Plone specific CSS will be easy to master.

Donna M Snow started her love affair with Plone in 2002. A long-time community member and evangelist for Plone Ms. Snow spends 95% of her time converting static designs into Plone skin products. Ms. Snow has provided on site training for many organizations in the Bay Area and nationwide.
