Bay Area Plone Retreat

A BarCamp/Unconference style event that brings together as many plonistas as possible. One track of talks (probably) plus lots of lightning talks (Ignite style) and Birds of a Feather. Want to participate? Do you have suggestions for this event that will make it more worthwhile for you or your organization?

I'd like to leave this open to the community. Do you want training? no? Should we do just one track for 2 days and what issues do we want to cover? This doesn't have to be as structured as a conference or symposium. We can get together and learn from each other. Share your projects. Discuss your concerns. Offer suggestions. It's up to you. Share your ideas on our CoActivate page . If it's not raining and we wind up near Google we can even take our lappies outside somewhere and enjoy sun, fresh air, conversation and wifi. Your choice guys, what do you say? :-)

No 3 hour tutorials planned (we cover those really well at the conferences/symposiums) There WILL be sprinting (couple requests already in for sprinting)

The idea behind this is to celebrate Plone as a community and help make it even stronger by sharing our knowledge and inspiration.

I'm leaving February 1-9 open (the event won't be for 8 days unless we tack on a couple extra sprint days) we can pin down the exact dates via vote on the planning pages.

Hope to hear from you and final information will be posted here when we've come to a consensus.
