Working copy of office_wvware.py for Windows/Linux

by Kok-Hoon Teo last modified Jun 04, 2010 09:00 AM
There is a platform-dependent bug in the copy that accompanied the Plone 3.3.5 distribution. Here is the fixed copy

I got my Plone 3.3.5 on Windows 7 to index all uploaded Word-documents by following the instructions in this article . However, I had to modify office_wvware.py a little more than what the author suggested.

Here's a working copy for those of you who are looking to enable full-text indexing for Word document on Plone hosted under Windows.

Note that on my machine, this file resides in:

c:\Program Files (x86)\Plone\buildout-cache\eggs\products.portaltransforms-1.6.8-py2.4.egg\Products\PortalTransforms\transforms
