Reset a password (without having to email one to the user)
Log in to Plone as a Manager user
Click Zope Management Interface
For the user who's password you need to manually reset, click Password
a new dialogue will appear, delete the characters in the password field (may be circles or stars) and type a new password
do the same in the confirm password box, then click "update password".
The user's password has now been reset. They will not have been notified of this so you need to tell them what the new password is.
Suggestion: This HOW-TO is intented for developers or sites that do not use SMTP email servers, as an alternative method of resetting a user password.
